| no partners | | Almost spent one of my days off from work without going on a hike but I found myself going a little stir crazy and I needed to get out!
I originally wanted to hit up a few different Hieroglyphic HP's but the majority of them I'm interested in reside on or near both private and state land trust areas (still need to buy that permit!  ).
After physically driving and checking out some of the Hiero HP road entry points and finding marked state land trust signs I then decided to keep it legal and hike elsewhere, I opted for the nearby Baldy Mountain instead.
I was not planning on heading for the summit, more so was just interested in a little tripod time and fresh air. Although after how much I liked the area I will be back for a summit of Baldy indeed. Along with it being a nice little trail it was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the road. I'm sure on a weekend it's a different story with all the off roaders and firearm enthusiasts around but this evening was perfect! 
Sunset did not disappoint although I wish I was at a better vantage point, overall I was just happy to be outside taking photos after 8 consecutive days of work, my feet needed to hit the dirt and get out! |
