The few short miles of FR201 was in decent shape aside from one really lose section. Myself and Rosie parked at the 201/191 junction and made our way along the road to the swingset. Explored the old mine site and all it's old, rusty items briefly. Saw the swingset downhill and backtracked a tad to find the trail down to it. The swingset was in surprisingly good condition. We ate breakfast and I made a few phone calls while ejoying the views from the swing. This is a neat little spot and not hard to get to, could be a fun 'date hike' or even star gazing location, which might be fun to do from a swing. We didn't see anyone else or any vehicles all morning and made our escape before it got warm. |
