Took Rosie for a walk along Horton. We ended up doing some jogging as well, both on the way up and back down. Made a few stops at the creek so she could splash around and get a drink. The trail was empty aside from one solo hiker and a couple we encountered on the way down. Plenty of muddy patches on the trail, one of which I nearly became victim too. Pretty humid this a.m. but sunshine was on and off and temps were low 70s so we were in heaven. Tons of ripe blackberries now. There is a good size oak tree down across the trail right at the beginning where it dips down from the TH. Tonto Creek was a river of chocolate yoohoo but Horton was clear as usual.
