Evacuation orders lifted, first thing on the agenda was a morning hike. 54 degrees this morning. Ahhh.

Went up the north ridgeline. Did some (well, maybe alot) trail maintenance. Got to the Helipad on Union, fire crew have a camera and wind equipment on the helipad. Camera facing big bug mesa. Controlled fires noted on the Mesa and confirmed on app.mapport.com/wil ... wer/

Hung out with John in the Summit Tower, we talked about his story about calling in the Goodwin fire, started down south of Yankee Doodle Peak. Video of current fire conditions on Big Bug Mesa: [ youtube video ]

Was not feeling it to up and down Davis so took the regular trail 285 down back Poachers Row and looped back up to the Lodge.
