bad forecast and having worked all evening the night before, i did not know what i could sneak in. just drove to the santa ritas and decided on the fly. figured i would get rained on, and really didn't care as long as it wasn't crazy stuff.

80% humidity hit me instantly. everything was wet and green. water starting to flow in the canyons again, not hearty yet though. saw numerous deer, including one majestically leap over a relatively large ravine...which blew my mind. underrated athleticism there folks. wow. Roger's Rock is always a favorite place of mine to visit.

last mile in the rain. heavy stuff mercifully waited until 5 minutes after i finished :y:
