Fabulous slice of Autumn. Only 3h 20m from Ahwatukee. I enjoy the farms, country views and mountain ranges driving in from Wilcox. Hunter row looked loaded. Several familiar faces and a couple other groups plus scouts out enjoying the day. Busy considering the remote location, yet really not crowded.

Upper Ash to the East Divide and the final half furlong to the peak are brushy. Nothing horrible just a pita as a fair amount is eye level.

A solid hike, worth the drive. Great to see everyone!

Started just before the trailhead. Carried 40oz agua, consumed 36.
