I last did this one on Easter morning earlier this year. Not a cloud in sight on that morning. Today, Mother Nature put on a light show for me.

This cool little hike packs in the views. I would recommend this hike to anyone with out of state visitors....the view from the top is great, no matter what time or conditions.

The road going up is still as rough as ever. I parked my "off-road" Honda Civic by the mailbox and hiked up. Seeing all the tire tracks going up, it makes me wonder if it even worth taking a Jeep or truck up there. ha ha.

Once on top, the views are awesome, of course. The colors did not last as the sun nestled behind the low cloud cover. But, for about 30 minutes, there was quite a demonstration. Probably all that ozone and air pollution added to it. Gotta love AZ sunrises/sunsets.
