Already a few isolated wildflowers, but I'd bet this is a decent hike to see flowers in the peak seasons. I didn't meet any people on the trail, but a large group of birds out of view were making lots of loud funny noises for a bit. The trail ends near a marina, then I took the road back to the car to complete the loop. There were at least 8 birds of prey quietly circling me, very low, as I was walking back to the car. Back at the trail head, I walked up a small incline to the peak of a hill where there is a small stone wall and one last view of the lake. |
