| no partners | | | Drove down a long windy road to reach this trailhead. There are quite a few spots for car camping here, and Hirz Bay trail begins by these camp spots. There was definitely more noise on this trail than I'd like, because people rent house boats and sometimes dock near this trail. People's voices and music travel quite far. I did not hike the full trail because about a mile in, the trail became very overgrown, eroded, and pretty non-existent. It was becoming slippery along the hillside with no trail, so I decided to turn around. |
