| no partners | | Short hike into a secluded lake that I don't think sees much traffic. I only discovered this lake after scouring topo maps of the Mt. Hood wilderness. It's a relatively easy drive along a maze of dirt forest roads to get here, but I think this lake is often overlooked in favor of visiting some of the larger nearby lakes. Got a couple of bites, but nothing that I could hook. I could also see fish jumping in the center of the lake taunting me.
