| no partners | | | Attempted to follow the Eagle Creek Trail #501 out to the Eagle Creek Ford and back, but only made it part way. While the trail tread is easy enough to follow, it is severely overgrown in several places by overzealous berry bushes that make for very slow going. This is probably a hike best saved for the winter months when the upper elevation hikes are snowed in and the berry bushes die back a bit. Overall a nice stroll through a heavily shaded forest, but nothing else too noteworthy. |
