| no partners | | Rained all afternoon and cleared up briefly and we set out for dinner and a hike. Trailhead is at the end of the road the Crags trailhead is on. It is a continuation of the RING the Peak and I was able to connect to horse thief falls which is one of the only completed parts I haven’t done. Between thunder and rain we had to turn back before seeing the falls, but the trail was one of the nicer sections of RTP I have been on. Saw first Rocky Mountain Columbine of the season. Ate dinner in Yertle while the initial rain passed. Nice family hike. We will be back to see the falls and provide a little beta.
Description my wife found said three stream crossings all were dry.  |
