| no partners | | Lacking in both imagination and willingness to drive very far, I did another loop hike at my local county park...
Starting from the Four Peaks / Horse Staging Area in MMRP, I hiked Escondido, left on Pemberton, left on Scenic, left on Pemberton, and returned via Shallmo Wash.
It was warm, but not especially hot with temps starting in the low to mid eighties climbing into the mid-nineties by the time I was done. I saw perhaps ten other trail users, all mountain bikers, on my hike. I think I even saw Ranger Amy riding her bike.
I had fixed the problem that I had on Friday with my hydration reservoir. It turned out that the bite valve had torn. We had a replacement on hand, so it was easily fixed. I brought two 3L reservoirs with me and drank quite a lot of it. |
