With so much snow at lower elevations I thought it would be fun to hit one of the trails that typically doesn't have snowshoe depth snow. Plus I figured this might be easier to park near than other options.

Well I struck out on parking and had to shovel a spot for myself. Oh well.

Then there was the snow. So, so, so, so deeeeeeeep! It was really beautiful. But snowshoeing was incredibly exhausting. It never crossed my mind that I couldn't push through for 3.5 miles of breaking a trail, but it didn't take long for me to admit defeat and realize that it just wasn't going to happen today.

The good news is nobody else was out there, which is pretty much the only way I ever want to experience this trail!
