1st official day of Rim Road 300 being open! :)
Headed straight for some of my favorite canyons of refuge for a afternoon of fun in the high country.
Snowmelt as expected has canyons looking and flowing healthy as can be and full of life.
Saw an abundance of elk, turkey and the first bear of the year who happened to be a young beautiful red/brownish bear that was hanging out near a game tank.
A true blessing to be back exploring and enjoy some “Mellow Mogollon Rim Canyons” as I call them and good to see the sweeping views along the edge of the road that never gets old especially after a fulfilling day in the woods.
