| no partners | | My last day of activities included a 13 km kayak trip down a section of of the Dordogne River. I got to see Châteaus and Villages as I went. What struck me most is the fact that what I saw was what people in the 15th and 16th century would have saw as they approached the area via canoes. And the fact that humans have lived along the River for over 29,000 years is even more mind blowing.
After that I drove to Pech Merle where I got to see prehistoric cave paintings from 29,000 years ago. Amazing but no photos because it was restricted. |
