On the Jesus Goudy Ridge Trail, I came across a strawberry patch, and did some off trail exploring along the hike. Hiked a little ways past the "trail closed" sign at the end of the trail, and came to agree with the sign. The great views from the ridgeline are probably the highlight of this hike. I decided to take the old trail alignment back at the "T" junction; I wouldn't recommend it (forest thinning and trail deterioration). All in all the Jesus Goudy Ridge Trail was an enjoyable adventure. |
