| no partners | | Set out to see fall colors and take family photo. Kids wanted to see Isak Heartstone in his new location. Previously he was on another trail and local Breck snobs complained about traffic by their million dollar plus homes. Anyway, hadn’t been through Como and Boreas Pass. Part Leaf Peeping, Part reconnaissance for winter camping options when I ride, part annual family picture. Lot’s of spots to pull off and camp unclear how far up they block off pass in the winter. Colors were good. We stopped at a basement taco shop called Rita’s which was very good. Had a jalapeño cucumber margarita which was one of the better one’s I’ve had. Couldn’t camp this weekend because of Sunday Lacrosse game. I am however able to shift with my recovering arm now. Would like to camp, but will have to depend on family for set up help. Hiked through town in the dark and up the short trail to Isak’s new local. Had it to ourselves thanks to going in the dark.
Not sure why sometimes pics give option to reorder and sometimes it doesn’t generally I don’t use multiple cameras although even the one in this Photoset taken by my iPhone did not upload in the order they were taken or chosen. This seems to be the rule rather than exception since we got iPhone 10r and changed providers. I then was able to close Haz reopen it into Photoset and it gave me option to reorder. Super odd. |
