Slate to Military. Turned around when we got to the Flat Rock Trail junction. Plan was to start at 7:30 AM as it's beginning to warm up....did not happen as we started at 8 AM. Paid the price on the last mile getting on and off the trail a half a dozen times to let people go by so we could keep our distance.

Update on Kai's ACL surgery. Last blood work showed an elevated white blood cell count so lab was called back to run lime disease and valley fever on the blood (they must hold for 24 hours). This came back negative. He was put antibiotics for 2 weeks then we will run another lab. This is the second time his surgery has been cancelled.
