| no partners | | | Went up to Sedona today to ride some of the trails in Carroll Canyon. I've done lots of hikes in Sedona and these have never been on my radar. Got to Sunset Park around 7:00-7:30 to find like one other car there, SCORE! Started by going up the paved road to jump on Bandit trail. Crazy steep downhill run to Old Post trail. Made a counter clockwise loop out of Old Post, Skywalker, Herkenham, back on Old Post, Rams Head, Ridge, Sketch, Ridge, then kind of wandered back on some of the same trails. Instead of climbing back up Black Diamond Bandit, we jumped out on to Shelby Road and followed the signs to return to Sunset Park. Hardly saw anyone on the trails, 3 bikers and a few hikers. |
