Waited for the light rain to finish but only a short window to hike before taking my wife to the dentist. Lost Goldmine always nicer when cloudy this time of year otherwise very warm along here. A few cars in the Hieroglyphic lot but no people. In fact saw no one else until surprisingly a young lady already at the top of Turks.She was enjoying the rain showers go by but she skedaddled when I arrived. There’s at least a couple of cairned routes going up but I prefer the one further north overlooking Turks backyard. After a brief visit and snack started back down. Met some volunteer trail workers from Pinal County parks and rec who said SALT was no longer maintaining this trail? I thanked them and they said if not this they would be at the bar already

Felt a few rain drops but nothing significant , no wildlife today, Lost Goldmine trail is in great condition.
