A good day with the segment steward cutting a hole in a deadfall, and cutting brush on the switchbacks above Oak Spring. We were out there with a power brush cutter a few times this winter/spring, but today was with loppers and a hand saw. We'll need one more day to finish it but that may have to wait until fall; things were getting a bit toasty on the SW exposure.
