Returned to a favorite area near Wupatki NM, walking some new ground. The cinders had a lot of vegetation today likely due to the monsoon moisture. The ground cover makes it a little harder to find pottery and low walls but the area has plenty of ancient remnants so its always a good day up there.

Found the usual complement of primitive ruins and pottery pieces. Most notable were a couple enclosures built into volcanic protrusions that were different from the usual. Saw one pronghorn and enjoyed the relative cool.
