One of my usual workout loops. Cloudy, cool weather to start. Headed up Bursera, which sucks on the downhill section. At the big wash, headed west on Gila to the first saddle, then headed up the ridge to the Bursera/National jct. Had a nice little rainshower while hiking the ridge.

East on National. Great rainbow to the north as I approached Goat Hill. Chatted with Jeff, aka SouthMountainCowboy again when we crossed paths east of Goat Hill. He’s the guy who’s always riding horses near Telegraph Pass. Another rainshower as I was getting onto Pyramid. The clouds went away for the final two miles and it felt a little muggy.

Good workout, and good weather for it.
