CCRP to New River Road - Maricopa Trail

Hiked the Go John loop and did a spur of MT up towards Spur Cross area, stopping where I left off 2 weeks ago. Some of the MT has been re-routed and that area in general I think has been developed more. One section has a paved road, which I don't remember the last time I hiked this, over 10 years ago. I found an equestrian trail along the MT up towards Spur Cross. it's not far from Apache Peak and New River Rd, which also has a trailhead. Looks like a possible reconnaissance excursion some day.
