I wanted to try out a 6 miler with a new ankle brace my buddy Bruce gave me. Glad Linda was available for a hike with not much notice. It was good to catch up.
The trail itself was in the usual shape. pretty good. A pretty even mix between hikers and mountain bikers but not crowded at all. The humidity was high but the cloud cover kept us out of direct sunlight for the majority of the hike. I'll take it! Just a little sun poking through for a sunrise pic.
We saw a sporadic quail showing, 1 speckled rattlesnake and a nice mountain of bees

I had a nice sweat going by the time we hit 6 miles. The ankle brace seemed to help! Enjoyable hike and glad Linda was able to join me! Like HAZ, she rocks!!
