| no partners | | I did this trail as part of an overnighter back in late March. The sound of the water rushing in the canyon was tempting but I resisted the urge to go bushwhacking and stuck to the trail. Plenty of water up at the falls, nice and refreshing after my climb up.
I camped before the hookup with the Mazatzal Divide trail at a nice well used spot with a creek running nearby.
Hooked up with the Mazatzal Divide trail and took it south to intersect with the Y-Basin train for my return. I found some big paw prints in the snow. Pretty steep decline coming back in some spots. There were also some beautiful wildflower borders on the path.
Great spring hike! |
