Decide to hike 151 to the fire tower on Aztec Peak even though the road was open to the top. The trail is severely overgrown and requires route finding or a gps. Once at the top, we decided to hike the road down. Overall a great exercise hike with wonderful views from the top.

FR 487 half way up is high clearance only, large rocks and a couple of deep pot holes. There are few turn arounds so you're committed once you start up.
