| partners | | linda utilized the wish list feature on haz for a kendrick peak hike
chris, wally and i joined in
we got going around 0900
several cars at the trailhead already, although we really didn't see that many people
cool temps, nice breeze
yet another hike i haven't done in years, it's one of my favorites
linda set a solid pace up the numerous switchbacks
we stopped to see the cabin, which is still locked
a few patches of snow up higher, some deadfall on the trail
took a break on the cement pad at the peak, then headed back down
the girls decided to add on newman hill
we went straight up from the trailhead
easy off trail, but the upper half was steep
we topped out on a crescent shaped ridgeline, then found the high point
it would be fun to explore the summit area further
best views of the day of kendrick and the peaks
back down and back to the valley
clear sailing on I-17
thanks for putting this together linda
it was nice to hit a classic peak in perfect weather
enjoyed meeting chris, and hiking with wally again
