| no partners | | We actually started our Tillamook Head hike with this out-n-back, and my stats are included on that one, but I figured this really is a separate destination for most people so I'd give it a separate triplog.
Crazy busy being a holiday and prime low-tide situation. Still a fun spot to visit. Very scenic.
Climbing the stack or getting up on the rocks is prohibited to protect the sea life that calls the place home. Well, until a couple weeks after we were here, when a mountain lion scaled the rock and caused the whole of Cannon Beach to get shut down.  Almost as if nature isn't exactly why the place is popular to begin with! |
