50% Chance of Rain, I figured I'd go for it. Hiked from TH at DC Village Health Club. I saw about 8-10 Javelina right before Inspiration point. I think I startled them more than they startled me. I was breaking in new boots(bad idea). Hot spots were felt at about 4 miles. I finally stopped at 6 1/2 miles to check. I put on a couple moleskin bandaids. At this point, Bell Pass was a welcomed sight(down hill). Didn't see anyone on the trail untill about 8 1/2 miles in. Got home took off my socks and noticed the moleskin slipped and pulled off both heel bisters.
