Got to the TH at about 8:30am. The ride on 143 was a smooth one. It must have been grated recently. It was 45 degrees when I got there, but with the wind it felt colder. Hiked to the saddle and then about a third of the way up the chute at 7,231 feet. There was a small patch of snow in the chute. I will do the summitt sometime in the near future. Took some pics and took the long way home on El Oso road. Traffic on 87 is down to one lane in some parts.
