Took advantage of a slightly cooler day to check the Diamond fire damage to our new reroute on AZT #22 just to the north of SR 87.

There is a patch badly burned right by the highway. After that things are fairly good until a bit more than a mile north of 87 then there is a large burn that extends almost a mile and a half. Beyond that there isn’t much more fire damage. Saw two deer on my way back. 82 when I started and 88 at the end.
