Met up with Denny at 0900 and headed up San Gabriel Ridge. Nice cloud cover, but very humid. Headed up Mormon Loop (now Javelina). Saw three clueless women climbing all over the petroglyphs. Came back down National, then finished up on San Gabriel. Saw a fair amount of hikers and bikers. One millipede. Last night’s rain knocked down the dust on the trails. I tempted disaster by bringing a brand new phone on the hike without any case or screen protector, but all survived intact. Good to squeeze in a hike with Denny this week.
