| no partners | | On the way home from our Utah Christmas, we hit a few hikes along the way. First up was the Red Hollow slot canyon outside of Orderville, Utah. The slot is relatively short, but cool. There is an upclimb that tends to stop most folks' progress. But there was a rope and if you have the upper body strength, you can scramble up and continue progressing up the canyon.
I continued on for several hundred yards until another mandatory upclimb. There was a rope there as well, but it was stuck up too high to retrieve. I might have been able to shimmy up, but it was time to get to my wife, who had not come up the first upclimb.
This is a worthy stop if you are in the area! |
