| no partners | | Plan was to walk some creeks and ridges southwest of Horseshoe Lake. I planned to pass a nice petroglyph site I found a long time ago but otherwise sample new territory.
I wasn't very lucky: only appreciable "new thing" I saw was a small ruin. But I spent a fair amount of time searching it and found a few interesting things. Then I continued through the petroglyph site which features a panel which is "special enough" that it appears on the cover of Malotki's book "The Rock Art of Arizona".
The walking was mainly steep and slow but there was water in the creeks - no complaints.
