Noticed a section of the lower Gila River I hadn't looked at and headed out to see if I could find some petroglyphs. Unfortunately the recent rains had left a long puddled rut in the dirt road and so I parked early and just started walking toward the river a few miles early.

I realized I was not too far from a nice geoglyph I'd found a few years ago so I headed that way. Found a few unimpressive petroglyphs then visited the geoglyph and nearby petroglyph alcove I'd seen before. Walked some of the section I'd originally wanted to see but nothing else interesting to report.

No complaints, nice day out.
