I decided to hike up to Peak 5057 today; this is probably the 15th time that I have been up there.

We did an out-and-back from the Hieroglyphic TH by going up and down through Hieroglyphic Canyon.

It was mostly a cool, cloudy, and breezy day, although the sun would occasionally come out and warm things up.

As others have reported, there was a lot of heavy fire damage all along the ridgeline from Hieroglyphic Canyon over to 5057. I wonder how much erosion that there will be along the trail whenever some heavy rainstorms hit the area.

It was a good but tiring hike.
