I had intended to do another hike in this area, but muddy roads caused me to go to plan B, which was the Vineyard Trail.

I did this hike 7 years ago but had forgotten most of it.

I hiked the entirety of the Vineyard Trail, starting from the Vineyard TH to the Mills Ridge TH, and then turning around and coming back.

The first couple of miles were steep with lots of loose rock, so it was slower going than it should have been, both going up and coming back down. The trail was better the closer you got to the Mills Ridge TH.

This is a decent workout hike, and there are some great views along the way.
