Not a dream was I left a key piece of hiking gear at home; I made it work but when my body started hurting a bit I had to turn around in the fun part.
This trail worked along a ridgeline then came off to a broad saddle. From here it's going to be a hunt but I chose to scramble up onto a rocky ridgeline across the way. Now it was some hard hiking with interesting trends that left one standing on a rock with a small gap sometimes 10-15 feet deep between the next boulder group. My jumping days are over so I weaved in and out and soon got tired of it. Beautiful and intriguing area though. The best part of the day were the flowers. The Caltrops were covering some of the hillsides and turning them gold. Back when I can get my sheet together. |
