@trekkin gecko
Black Top Mesa = Yes which means Bull Pass is in the mix

I suggest clockwise with a return through Needles Canyon from the Bull Pass Trail to Boulder Canyon....look for my lost camera, Pentax W90 Optio, black with green trim.

Clockwise from FW thru Garden Valley to Boulder Canyon. South on BC to Cavalry. A small uphill up Calvary through a pretty cacti garden. The scenery through here is gorgeous I say go through Bull Pass for a FULL and steep experience. If you have time go to Black top Mesa but allow another hour to do this. Love it! Easy 4 miles out the Dutchman.

Heck Kelly, do what Mike and I did. We did it clockwise, brought both routes with us and made up our minds when we got to the Bull Pass Junction, based on how we felt, and the time of day....

With your speed and stamina, you could probably do both and just use the Bull Pass/BT Mesa as a side trip and then run the last four miles of Dutchman.... :sweat: :D
