My GPS came up with 7.76 miles and 3,158' of AEG. Oh well. I'm going with Joe's totals because I think my handheld needs an update. I'll never forget this hike because of punishment my shins took from the unfriendly vegetation that covers the trail. Wear pants.
Great to have the opportunity to hike with some HAZ legends again. Denny ain't no tortoise either. Coming down from the ruins was very challenging for me more than anyone else, and I'm glad that Joe's camera's video function didn't have the ability to zoom very far.
Thanks to Chris for setting this up and driving even if I was subjected to all 9 versions of the Pittsburgh Steelers song.
