From here a short ride on Bell Rock Pathway to the Templeton Trail (comes up quick and easy to miss). Great section of the trail that has two tunnels under the roadway and beautiful views of Cathedral Rock along the way. Once you pass the Cathedral Rock hiking trail up to the saddle, you proceed down to Oak Creek after some nasty switchbacks. Take a left onto the Baldwin loop next to experience an 'amusing' section of challenging trail (made more so because you are tired from the first 11 miles!) and more great views of the back of Cathedral Rock. Ends back at the parking lot at the Baldwin Trailhead. My riding partner and I both thought this was an incredible ride and a new way to experience the awesome Sedona wilderness! |
