This was my first time around Pass Mountain, and it's a very good hike, combining both distance with some uphill work on the back side of the mountain. All combination of cacti are along this trail. There was no noise except from the gun range toward the end of the hike (I went counter-clockwise). There is a great saguaro forest on the East side.
