| no partners | | Took the trip down to the springs, started at 3pm. Hiking down was so easy I didn't even noticed all the time that had passed. Reached the first springs around 5:15. Very beautiful, seeing the springs bubbling up was very cool.
Ran into a group of campers assumed they were boy-scouts. I was still trying to find the 'main spring' that had the huge jump with the rope that a lot of people have pictures of. Unfortunatly time was getting outa hand and it was nearing 6pm. I knew we just made a huge mistake by continuing to look for the main spring when we had to hike all the way back up.
Note to all: it takes around 2 hours to get down to the first spring so don't ever start the hike at 3pm and expect to get all the way back up the trail before dark! 
My girlfriend had to use her cell-phone as a flashlight for about an hour! |
