| no partners | | Finally got out to do some hiking with the new camera. First stop Peralta Trail. I've never done this trail but was excited to see Weavers Needle. Trail was pretty easy, creek beds were dry but where there was standing water the mosquitoes were breading away like no other!
Sometimes the trail was confusing but we made it with little effort. Pretty good hike in my book. Weavers Needle is incredible, especially at dusk. So awesome.
I bought a Nikon D700 but quickly changed my mind and went back to Canon. I love this Canon 5D, I can't live without Canons L lenses. Sorry Nikon. The Canon 24-105mm f/4 L IS is a very versatile lens. For the full frame Canon 5D camera, this is probably the perfect walk around lens. Great colors right out of camera, hardly any tweaking to be done! Sharpness is where the Canon 5D shines and I didn't use a tripod on any shots. |
