and Wally said no cookies no go!The weather was GREAT and we were all in cruise mode.We topped out at early light to see the Awesome views of Battleship and the Supes.We dropped down to the creek and then over to show Bruce the Paint mine.After passing Second Water junction somebody asked us to quiet down.It was Dave.He was planning a different hike but said he would like to join us to catch some of Joe's tunes 
.We made our way up and across the Ship when,Joe,true to his word pulled a Bighorn sheep out of his....Hat.AWESOME!!! I love seeing wildlife and to see this surefooted Bighorn and all his personality was so coooool!I did manage to fall(?) twice with only a little blood loss.We ate lunch as Bruce signed us in and then took our New Year pics 
.Before we headed back Joe took us over to the tip to look straight down 
.On the way back we saw the Bighorn again below us and he put on another show.Very cool.From there, on to the box.Cool as always.Dave headed up the box and back to Firstwater and we went down LaBarge and Back to Canyon Lake.Awesome hike,wildlife,and company.THANK YOU and a big HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!
