Hadn't hiked with LP in awhile and sent him a text this morning to see if he wanted to do the Flatiron. He said sure but he would be slow. Yeah whatever! I think all that bike riding is paying off. He went right up that thing with little effort.

We were at the edge of the Flatiron in a respectable 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then he said he wanted to check out the Hoo Doos right behind the Flatiron. We went up and were able to stand on one of them that was close to the highest one. Great views and cool side excursion.

Afterwards we went to Rosita's Place on McDowell and 23rd Street for some delicious greasy Mexican food. Awesome!
