I started out at around 7:30am and headed out the Dutchman trail to Coffee Flat Trail. The hike started out as usual and I was at Reeds Water in about an hour and 40 mintues. From there I took a little detour about 45 minutes down a side trail. I should have checked the map better but hey I like exploring a little anyway. After hiking back in I decided to continue on toward Dripping Springs but ran short on time about a mile before the Red Tanks Junction. I met up with Ken on the way and we rocked hopped and talked for a short while. Ken was doing the Coffee Flat Loop so we parted ways when I started back to get to my daughters birthday party on time.
