| no partners | | I wanted to drive to a remote location to start my walk but was defeated by No Trespassing signs. I know Roden Crater is private but thought the road to the west would be OK, but nyet. If any of you smart Hazzers know how to identify things like this in advance, let me know.
Anyway I retreated a bit and just "winged" a little loop to look around this rich area. Worked out OK, though I overlapped a previous trip I'd taken out there. Compared to most of the pristine cinders in the Wupatki area, today it was mainly ranch land with plenty of cow leavings (dried muffins and skeletons) so not quite as nice. Still nice. |
